After yesterdays little drama finding out that some famous people hold the IP rights to any likeness of them, I decided to start today by cleaning up my various sites around the world wide web - starting with my POD (print on demand) sites. I'd been a member of one particular site, RedBubble, since its very start and it was with a pang that I deleted the bulk of my work from two of my portfolios, leaving just a bare skeleton portfolio with redirections to this, my main website. It was challenging, deleting over five years of history. RedBubble was special to me in many ways, not the least of being the launch platform for fullcirclemandalas and later my photography and then my writing. It was a safe space to begin and the people I formed deep and lasting friendships with are still in my life today and I am grateful and thankful for such a wonderful group of supportive and talented and wonderful peers and friends. But like anything, there comes a time when you outgrow the nest. Your comfort zones become barricades barring you from development and progression. You look over the wall at what you could be. I've outgrown those fledgling beginnings and it's now time to take my work and my self to a whole new level. I don't know what that is yet. I don't really have any ideas. I just know that I need to clean up all the old stuff first, before I can step forward and embrace a new future. I drew this card after my morning walk: Dragonfly Kiss Shimmering dragonflies flit above rich waratahs, supported by a pyramid of sacred geometry. We have the power to circle and change direction at will, never stuck, never immobile, never lost. No problem is too great - we simply need to shift our perspective. Love and beauty surround us always. Excerpt and card from the Mandala Meditations Guidance Card Oracle by Marg Thomson
