Wednesday - Breathe Day
Got up late - around 6 am :D and had a leisurely breakfast before heading off with my camera to photograph the very large cemetary behind Sameena and Mikes place. It was beautiful to spend a balmy sunny morning with the dead. I still couldn't find those pesky elusive squirrels though! After that lovely walk I had breakfast and a text message exchange with the kids and a talk with my man friend - the one who won't tell anyone of my existence, despite us having had a deep relationship for nearly four years. Sigh.
I started sorting photos and then Sameena got up and we wandered off down the village to have lunch and visit markets and sort out business. It was lovely to spend time with one beautiful woman. She and I had met a few years before playing Scrabble online! Amazing how new friendships arise in this day of internet communication. There are no boundaries anymore and that is an awesome thing.
The day was long and leisurely and a much needed respite from my hectic whirlwind tour. I felt totally recharged.
That night we went to dinner at the Princess of Wales pub in Hackney - a quintessential English pub - and I met another two friends of mine from my RB days - Kriss and Peter. It was a most amazingly wonderful night and we got home late and I to bed with a head full of joy and happiness.
